Similar to the classic Tapper and to the recent hit Diner Dash, Cake Mania (download free trial here) is a simple but
engaging customer management game, involving the making and frosting of cakes
for various customers as they come in to your store.
It gradually increases in complexity, quickening the pace and adding new types of baked goods, as well as allowing the user to purchase additional kitchen upgrades to help the process. The tutorial is helpful, and the overall theme shows a fun sense of humor. The graphics are bright and large, and the customers are an egaging mix of demanding folks, especially as the pace heats up.
Verdict: Cake Mania is not
ground-breaking in gameplay, but if you enjoy this genre, then this is a good effort, especially if you one enjoys the baking metaphor. Get it here
